The power of deep relaxation
Note: Version française après la version anglaise Learning to switch off in our very busy and stressful lives is an art. Activating our parasympathetic system will help us trigger our relaxation response. It will also allow us to come back to a place of stillness and balance. We can only do this however if we consciously let our minds relax - otherwise, those stressful thoughts are still running in the background, even if we are physically relaxed and curled up on the sofa.
